Leah- Future Kissyboots Rockstar
Leah’s mentioned on several occasions that her future plans include being a rock star. The last time this was declared aloud was a week ago when we were listening to some L7 on the way to school. Perhaps she will follow in my wanderlust and angst filled shoes after all…
Here’s an email I sent out last January
Me- When I was blow drying her hair tonight (didn’t want her to go to bed with wet hair), she told me that she looked like a rock star and that when she grew up… she was going to have a band called the Rattlesnakes. Their first song, apparently, is going to include the following lyrics… “dogs are evil and cats rule…”
Karla May- That rules. I think she should go with just “Rattlesnakes” rather than “THE Rattlesnakes” because it just sounds more edgy.
Me- Well, she also mentioned something about having a cobra tattooed onto her face.
Karla May- In light of Leah wanting to start a band- …I thought this was especially amusing: Teen Girl Squad (you’ll need the sound on).
Me: Everybody died ‘cept me… oh crap!
