Hey Jules, just WHAT are you doing?
Well, I’m not going to school- and I have to say it feels awesome. I wake up without the constant stress of reading chapters or studying my notes or hell, just plain finding the time to.
I’ve started working for one of my former professors. Here’s a shot of us…

Ok, so I’m kinda joking. I DO get to play with many of the same cool toys as they do on CSI, but I work with living things NOT dead….
Like… Aspergillus
And its other soil loving friends, Histoplasma and Blastomyces
But, it doesn’t usually look that dang dandy… usually it’s like this….
And fucking STINKS! Turns out FUNGI are smelly!
I do feel a bit like this every single day…

And as far as cool endorsement deals- no fancy high paying makeup for me- best I could do is
Supportive shoes for my OLD aching feet
Or another old people buy…
But, I am happy doing this. Moon asked me if I ever pictured my twelve year old self doing this… No, I didn’t.

The BBE is a microbiologist. Twenty-one years ago this March I visited him for SpringBreak. His frig was full of petri dishes — a veritable Superfund sight!

Hey you’re back! MY BBE was a microbiologist before he went and became a liberrian, so I am not unfamiliar with petri dishes either.
