Davy Crockett & Jim Bowie would be proud
Last summer Moon and Stars had all the kids and carted them to Art Museum Camp for an entire week. Besides scoring a slam dunk for uber motherhood, she got to hear highly entertaining coversations… here’s one that she sent me…
While looking at a history (overview really but who is to argue with the Publishers) of architecture book, Tyler and Max began discussing The Alamo.
Tyler said, “Before we were born, there was a wall around The Alamo, but the Mexicans knocked it down.”
Max said, “ahhhhhhhh. (insert very concerned look) But that is my favorite building.”
Tyler touches his shoulder, looks him in the eye and says, “Don’t worry. The Alamo still stands.”
There was more, but I was trying so hard to hold the giggling inside that I couldn’t really hear the rest of it.
